Speech Language Pathologist in Federal Way, WA

This role is designed for master’s-level Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) seeking impactful, on-site work—virtual SLPs and SLPAs are not being considered for these positions.

With multiple openings available due to a district-wide shift from virtual to in-person support, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and special education teams to help students achieve communication and learning goals within diverse classroom environments.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Washington state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous school-based SLP experience strongly desired
• Commitment to working fully on-site
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy to students in elementary, middle, and/or high schools
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans addressing a variety of speech and language disorders
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to set and monitor student goals
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
• Consult with teachers and staff to foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
