Step into an exciting contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working in a vibrant educational environment near Federal Way, WA! Two openings are available for dedicated SLP professionals ready to make a positive impact in the 2026-2027 school year. Your assignment will span from September 2, 2026, to June 17, 2027, supporting a caseload of approximately 50 students. Both population and age preference are considered, ensuring your expertise is put to its best use.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows also welcome
  • Previous experience working in school settings is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within a school-based caseload of up to 50 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), keeping detailed records and tracking progress
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and school support teams to ensure holistic support for each student
  • Participate in student meetings, staff conferences, and parent communications, with flexible work hours depending on school schedules and meetings
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
