Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Federal Way, Washington

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
• Proficiency providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to pediatric and school-age populations
• Strong understanding of IEP development, goal setting, and progress monitoring
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators, staff, and families
• Experience in school, healthcare, or pediatric settings considered a plus

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication therapy to students
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Document progress and maintain accurate records as required by state and district regulations
• Collaborate with general and special education teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities
