Qualifications and required experience:

  • Hold a current WA State Department of Health SLP License
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required; CFY candidates considered if eligible
  • WA State SLP ESA credential
  • Ability to provide fingerprints and clear both WSP and FBI background/sexual misconduct checks
  • Valid Washington State driver’s license or evidence of reliable mobility
  • Previous experience in a school-based SLP role is preferred
  • Strong skills in pediatric speech-language evaluation, therapy, and collaboration within an educational setting

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering direct speech-language therapy services to students during in-person instructional days (Monday through Friday)
  • Conducting assessments and writing comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
  • Maintaining accurate records, progress logs, and documentation in compliance with state and district protocols
  • Engaging in multidisciplinary team meetings and supporting school-wide initiatives to foster an inclusive environment
