Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Valid state license for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience in a K–12 school setting is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with IEP procedures, progress reporting, and educational documentation

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide targeted, evidence-based therapy to individuals and small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student achievement
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate results as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based consultation
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages student growth and participation
