Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Maryland SLP license required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Prior experience in Maryland school settings strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills.
- Able to work onsite across various local schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluations, direct therapy, and consultative services for K-12 students.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Travel to multiple school sites to ensure service coverage for spot fill caseloads.
- Document student progress in compliance with district and state regulations.
- Serve high school students with moderate to severe needs in self-contained settings.
