Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Maryland SLP license required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
  • Prior experience in Maryland school settings strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills.
  • Able to work onsite across various local schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluations, direct therapy, and consultative services for K-12 students.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Travel to multiple school sites to ensure service coverage for spot fill caseloads.
  • Document student progress in compliance with district and state regulations.
  • Serve high school students with moderate to severe needs in self-contained settings.
