Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position offers the chance to make a direct impact through onsite services, with potential flexibility for virtual options. You'll provide expert evaluation and intervention for students from Pre-K through 5th grade, helping to foster communication development and academic success.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathology license (ASHA CCC required)
  • Previous experience working with Maryland school systems highly preferred
  • Solid background in delivering speech-language services to school-age populations
  • Comfortable with both onsite and teletherapy models
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student needs in an educational setting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services for PreK–5th grade students
  • Provide approximately 60 service hours per month within elementary settings
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support IEP goals and foster student progress
  • Maintain thorough, up-to-date documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
  • Engage in meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development activities as required
