Step into a rewarding role supporting students from 3rd through 12th grade by utilizing your expertise in speech-language pathology within a vibrant school environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact, collaborating with dedicated educators while helping students achieve their communication and academic goals.

Starting on August 19, 2026, and continuing through June 9, 2027, you’ll work approximately 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility in your daily schedule (typical hours are 7:50am to 2:25pm depending on the school assignment). This role allows you to engage with a diverse student population, assess needs, and develop targeted strategies for growth and success.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Relevant state licensure and certifications to practice in school settings
  • Prior experience serving school-aged populations preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students referred for speech and language concerns
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with educational staff and families
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support classroom strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging growth and confidence
