Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from 3rd to 12th grade as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This role runs from August 19, 2026, through June 9, 2027, and offers a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours (typically 7:50am - 2:25pm, with some flexibility based on school needs). You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to enhancing communication skills and educational outcomes for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for the state
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
- Experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred, especially with grades 3-12
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop individualized therapy plans and document progress effectively
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Create and implement individualized education and therapy plans in collaboration with educators and parents
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both one-on-one and in group settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Track and maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and interventions
- Offer guidance and support to teachers and families for carryover of techniques in classroom and home environments
