Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a rewarding part-time contract role supporting elementary students in a vibrant, resource-based autism program. This flexible position offers the opportunity to positively impact students’ communication skills in a collaborative school environment while working with a small, focused caseload.

In this role, you’ll provide specialized speech therapy to a group of five elementary-aged students in a resource classroom setting. Collaborate with dedicated educators as you develop individualized plans that empower each child to communicate more effectively and confidently. The position is set to begin as soon as possible and runs through June 4, 2027, with the potential for hours to increase to a full-time role.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice in the state
  • Experience working with school-aged children, with preference for background in autism support or resource classroom settings
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs, conduct assessments, and track student progress

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language services to elementary students in a resource classroom
  • Collaborate with special education staff to implement effective treatment strategies
  • Write clear documentation, progress notes, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Provide family and staff education to promote consistent progress across settings
  • Encourage a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports diverse learners
