Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Eligible for or possession of state licensure and ASHA certification (CFs are encouraged to apply!)
- Previous experience in school-based settings is beneficial, but not mandatory
- Comfort working with diverse student populations from kindergarten through high school
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with educators, parents, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for K-12 students
- Deliver direct interventions in accordance with IEP goals
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Lead group or individual therapy sessions within two school buildings
- Consult regularly with teachers, families, and related service providers to maximize student outcomes
