Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active SLP license in Florida
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Ability to manage IEPs, provide both direct and consultative therapy, and document progress
- Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and organization
- Familiarity with best practices for early elementary speech/language development
- Compassionate, adaptable approach to meeting students’ diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, group and individual therapy sessions, and progress reports
- Develop personalized goals in alignment with IEPs
- Maintain accurate records and consistent communication with staff and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Help foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment at a single school site
