Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Fernandina Beach, FL

This contract-to-hire position is ideal for a skilled SLP-CCC who is passionate about helping students in PreK through 2nd grade build their communication and language abilities from the start of the academic year.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active SLP license in Florida
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Ability to manage IEPs, provide both direct and consultative therapy, and document progress
• Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and organization
• Familiarity with best practices for early elementary speech/language development
• Compassionate, adaptable approach to meeting students’ diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver assessments, group and individual therapy sessions, and progress reports
• Develop personalized goals in alignment with IEPs
• Maintain accurate records and consistent communication with staff and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
