Your knowledge and compassion will empower learners near Firebaugh, CA, ensuring they reach key communication milestones. While your final caseload will be detailed upon placement, you can anticipate collaborating with a supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to positive student outcomes.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience providing services in school settings strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP processes, assessments, and evidence-based interventions
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students across diverse age groups
- Conduct assessments and participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and progress monitoring
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel
- Provide support and resources to families and educational staff
