Make an impact by working directly with K-12 students in a school-based setting as a Speech Language Pathologist on a full-time contract assignment. This role supports students, teachers, and families by delivering high-quality speech and language services, offering both direct and indirect support throughout the school year.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY)
- Previous experience (or strong clinical training) working with school-age children
- Familiarity with IEPs, evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, therapy, and consultation services to K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain thorough documentation in line with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with educational staff and families
- Deliver both onsite direct therapy and indirect consultative support as needed
- Remain focused on therapeutic responsibilities, with no expectation of extra non-therapy duties (no bus duty, lunchroom supervision, etc.)
