Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP or ability to obtain prior to start date
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates considered
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Provide consultation and support to teachers regarding communication strategies in the classroom
