Step into a dynamic educational environment, providing essential speech and language support to students across preschool and elementary settings. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference for young learners, working in a school-based role near Flatwoods, KY.

Your workweek will consist of five days filled with collaborative partnerships and direct interventions. The primary focus is supporting preschool students, with afternoons occasionally spent offering services to elementary-aged children. Morning hours are dedicated to preschoolers, aligning therapy with their schedule before nap time, while afternoons are typically reserved for elementary visits.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license in Kentucky (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Open to both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) holders
  • School-based experience is highly valued—either through internships, practicums, or prior roles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a full caseload of students, conducting screenings, evaluations, and individualized therapy in line with IEP goals
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each child
  • Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
  • Document services, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations
  • Adapt services between preschool and elementary schedules, ensuring continuity of care
