Make a meaningful impact by supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing leave coverage in a nearby school setting. This contract role runs from January 25, 2027, through April 30, 2027, and offers a consistent 40-hour week, giving you the opportunity to focus on a dedicated birth-to-three caseload of eager, developing minds.
Ideal candidates are passionate about pediatric care and hold clinical expertise in speech-language interventions for young children. You'll collaborate closely with educators and families, delivering vital services to help every child reach important milestones.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology
- Michigan state license in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Clinical Certificate of Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) and/or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
- Ability to communicate effectively with families, teachers, and other professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized goals, and implement therapy for birth-to-three students
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports according to school and licensure requirements
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ communication and developmental needs
- Provide guidance and support to families regarding at-home strategies and progress
- Attend meetings as needed to coordinate care and optimize student outcomes
