Step into a rewarding role supporting middle and high school students’ communication development in an educational environment. This part-time opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist who enjoys working with a diverse caseload and values flexibility. You'll serve students across two schools on the same campus near Flint, MI, with the added option for virtual service delivery if preferred.
Your weekly commitment will span approximately one day (12-15 hours) and focus on individualized attention for a small group of students—six at the middle school level and six at the high school level.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP) required
- State of Michigan licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience providing SLP services in a school setting preferred
- Comfortable with both in-person and virtual platforms for service delivery
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform speech and language assessments for assigned students
- Create and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers
- Track progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Provide consultation and support for staff working with students with communication challenges
