Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) status accepted
- Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology
- Experience in school-based environments, particularly with elementary-aged students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting children with autism spectrum disorder in a resource classroom
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a caseload of five elementary students participating in an autism support program
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans to address a broad range of communication needs
- Collaborate proactively with special education teachers, aides, and families to promote student progress
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records for IEP goals and compliance
- Contribute to team meetings and assist in developing strategies for academic and social success within the resource classroom
