Support student success as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a vibrant educational environment serving elementary and middle school students. Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology for SLPs or Associate’s/Bachelor’s for SLPAs
- Current state licensure for SLP or SLPA
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Teletherapy experience is an asset
- CFY candidates are welcome
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy methods to individual student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students with speech and language challenges
- Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver evidence-based therapy for students in elementary and middle school
- Provide services through in-person and/or teletherapy platforms as required
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student goals
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements
- Assist in developing communication strategies and resources for the school community
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to educational planning
