Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting preschool students as a Speech-Language Pathologist during the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time role is ideal for a dedicated SLP seeking a school-based position with a consistent daytime schedule. You’ll work Monday through Thursday, averaging 30 hours per week, and carry a manageable caseload of approximately 45–55 preschool children. The assignment starts as soon as possible and runs through May 20, 2027, providing stability and the satisfaction of positively impacting young learners.

Requirements and Desired Experience:

  • Active CDE (Colorado Department of Education) license
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology credentials (SLP-CCC)
  • Recent experience in school, pediatric, or healthcare settings preferred
  • Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating various speech, language, and communication disorders in a preschool population
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
  • Efficient organization and documentation habits to effectively manage a moderate caseload
  • Deep commitment to fostering communication milestones in early childhood

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individualized assessments and develop tailored IEP goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy to preschoolers, both in group and one-on-one settings
  • Track sessions, progress notes, and maintain records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Partner with educators and support staff to incorporate communication strategies into daily learning routines
  • Engage with families to support carryover and reinforce goals at home
