Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Texas SLP license (CFY, CCCs, or eligible for either).
- School-based SLP experience highly valued.
- Spanish-English bilingual abilities preferred.
- Experience conducting evaluations, managing caseloads, and writing therapy plans.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to supervise SLP Assistants (SLPAs).
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of students requiring speech and language therapy.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments as part of the special education process.
- Provide direct, evidence-based therapy to students.
- Participate fully in ARD meetings, collaborating with educators and families to develop IEPs.
- Supervise, mentor, and support SLP Assistants (SLPAs) in delivering services.
- Maintain accurate therapy notes and progress records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines.
