Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas (or eligibility)
  • Consideration for SLPs holding CCC as well as strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to organize and manage caseload effectively
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students, following IEP goals
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and parents/guardians
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to student planning and program reviews
  • Provide support and resources for classroom modifications and communication strategies

Details:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Position runs from August to the end of the school year (EOSY)
  • Contract position
