Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students for the 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting near Florissant, MO. This full-time position runs from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027, following standard school-year calendars. Work hours are 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch daily.

In this role, you’ll support up to 45 students across a half-day (AM/PM) program. Deliver direct speech-language pathology services, create engaging lesson plans aligned with IEP goals, and track each student’s progress throughout the year. This district values collaborative teamwork, providing you the chance to participate in regular PLC and professional development meetings while partnering with families and educational staff.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current SLP licensure in Missouri (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience desirable
  • Proficiency developing, implementing, and tracking IEPs
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech-language services for students with IEPs
  • Develop and implement weekly lesson plans and IEPs
  • Monitor, document, and report student progress on IEP goals three times annually
  • Collaborate with IEP teams—including parents and staff—by scheduling and leading meetings as case manager
  • Participate in PLC meetings, arrival/dismissal duties, and district PD
  • Adapt to other assigned responsibilities as needed

Compensation for this opportunity ranges from $50-$55 per hour, based on experience.
