Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Florissant, MO

This role calls for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide high-quality, in-person therapy services for a diverse caseload, primarily at LeMasters Elementary with the possibility of supporting a second school as needs arise. This assignment runs from ASAP through May 28, 2027, offering full-time hours at 37.5 per week.

You will have the chance to make a meaningful impact, especially for students who are non-verbal and utilize AAC devices for communication. Qualifications:

• Active Missouri SLP or SLPA license required
• Experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
• Knowledge of AAC device implementation is a plus
• Ability to adapt and support changing student and school needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students based on IEP goals
• Manage a caseload totaling approximately 3400 service minutes
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families
• Support students at primary and, if needed, a secondary campus
• Ensure compliance with district and state credentialing, including fingerprinting and technical forms
