Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active state SLP license and relevant certifications (or eligibility)
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and individualized therapy
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with faculty, families, and other specialists
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and tailor interventions for ages K-12
- Comfortable using virtual and in-person therapy platforms as needed
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to K-12 students
- Maintain timely and accurate reports, documentation, and participation in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Advocate for inclusive practices and support student participation in the classroom
