Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active state SLP license and relevant certifications (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience working in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and individualized therapy
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with faculty, families, and other specialists
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and tailor interventions for ages K-12
  • Comfortable using virtual and in-person therapy platforms as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services to K-12 students
  • Maintain timely and accurate reports, documentation, and participation in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Advocate for inclusive practices and support student participation in the classroom
