Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing leave coverage as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a birth-to-three caseload. This assignment runs from January 25, 2027, through April 30, 2027, and offers a consistent, full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. Work with young children and families, helping them reach essential developmental milestones in a supportive school-based setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology (OT degrees do not meet requirements)
  • Active Michigan state licensure to practice as an SLP or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • Skills in pediatric speech-language pathology, including evaluation and therapy for infants and toddlers
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
  • Experience working with early childhood or birth-to-three populations in educational or clinical settings

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for infants and toddlers with communication needs
  • Deliver direct therapy, collaborate with caregivers and educators, and monitor student progress
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation and comply with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and ongoing professional development
  • Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment that empowers young learners and their families
