Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active state licensure for practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued but not required
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language deficits
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings, collaboration sessions, and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain accurate therapy documentation, progress notes, and reports
  • Provide resources, training, and support to educators and families
  • Stay current with best practices, innovative therapy techniques, and professional development opportunities
