This contract opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide critical services on-site, working with a diverse student population from kindergarten through transition age (5-22). You’ll join a collaborative team, filling in while the current SLP is on maternity leave, alongside a dedicated SLPA.
Key Qualifications:
- Current California Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with K-12 students; comfort with diverse speech/language needs and IEP documentation
- Confident in managing a caseload of approximately 45 students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Availability for full-time, in-person work, Monday through Friday, 7am-3pm
What You’ll Do:
- Provide in-person assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students
- Collaborate with the SLPA and staff to deliver individualized and group therapy services
- Document progress and maintain compliance with special education and IEP requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and consult with teachers and families as needed
- Help ensure a positive, inclusive learning environment for students with speech and language needs
