School Speech Language Pathologist - Folsom, California

We are seeking an enthusiastic, qualified speech-language pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive multidisciplinary team. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring continuity of service during our current SLP’s maternity leave, working closely with a dedicated SLPA.

This position is an in-person contract role with an immediate start date. You will work regular hours, Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm, at our welcoming campus in Loomis. Enjoy the consistency of an ongoing assignment—with flexibility provided by a 30-day notice period if needed.

Your caseload will include approximately 45 students, giving you the opportunity to make a measurable difference in the lives of children and young adults across a range of abilities and backgrounds.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
• California state licensure or eligibility for licensure
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy, both individually and in group settings, in accordance with students’ IEP goals
• Assess, document, and monitor student progress
• Consult with teachers and participate in IEP meetings
• Supervise and mentor support personnel (SLPA) as appropriate
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
