This contract position offers flexibility with multiple locations and hours available near Folsom, CA, and competitive pay ranging from $60 to $80 an hour. You’ll work alongside a dynamic educational team, helping students improve their communication skills and shaping their confidence for lifelong success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid California SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered
  • Prior experience in a school setting is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
  • Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify communication disorders in students across various ages
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, voice, and fluency issues
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, special educators, and families
  • Document progress and prepare reports according to district and legal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
  • Provide direct therapy and share strategies for classroom carryover
