In this contract position, you'll help children overcome speech and language barriers, giving them the tools to communicate more effectively and reach their full potential.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language challenges
- Developing and implementing customized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Leading engaging therapy sessions targeting speech, language, and communication goals
- Carefully tracking and documenting student progress through detailed records
- Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of educators and professionals to coordinate care
- Involving and educating families throughout the therapy process for optimal outcomes
The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current, active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred
- Previous experience with pediatric or school-aged populations is desired
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
To be eligible, you must have a valid license from the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology and a Master’s degree or above in Speech-Language Pathology.
