Key Qualifications:

  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) to demonstrate advanced professional standards
  • Active California SLP License and COC (Clinical or Certificate of Competence) required
  • Previous experience in school settings is valued, though highly dedicated new graduates are welcome to apply
  • Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for a range of speech and language disorders
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse student population, both individually and in groups
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and provide input for multidisciplinary teams
  • Regularly assess student progress and adjust therapies as needed for optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure ongoing communication and support for student goals
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate records in accordance with school and state guidelines
