Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active California SLP license
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Certificate of Clearance (COC) required
  • Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations for students referred for speech and language concerns
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapeutic intervention plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative services to students in a variety of school environments
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed records of evaluations, progress notes, and IEP documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decision-making
  • Stay current on best practices, compliance, and professional standards for speech-language pathologists
