Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Experience providing speech and language services in a school environment strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP development, assessment methods, and therapy documentation
- Adaptable, compassionate, and collaborative approach to working with children and educators
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to maximize student support
- Monitor student progress, adjust therapy as needed, and maintain thorough records
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional recommendations and clear communication
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions aligned with students’ educational goals
