Exciting opportunities await for speech-language pathologists passionate about making a difference in school communities! This contract role offers a rewarding split assignment between middle and high school students, providing both a dynamic work environment and the chance to collaborate with dedicated teams.

You’ll work closely with a diverse caseload across Mission MS and Jurupa Valley HS, supporting students with mild-to-moderate needs. Enjoy the benefit of additional support from a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) assigned on select days at each location. Average caseload is approximately 55 students, giving you the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and witness measurable progress.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid licensure to practice in California
  • Experience working with mild/moderate student populations
  • Ability to manage a split caseload across middle and high school settings
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in both middle and high school settings
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
  • Complete IEP documentation and assessments in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Supervise and collaborate with the SLPA as assigned
  • Support students’ communication goals, facilitating their academic and social success
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development

This is a contract position offering approximately 37 hours per week, providing a consistent schedule while allowing you to immerse yourself in the school community. Exposure to a split caseload ensures variety, professional growth, and the ability to positively impact students at crucial academic stages.
