Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid and current SLP-CCC certification
- State licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience in a school or pediatrics setting preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and deliver therapy to students with varying needs
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students receiving speech-language services
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy within the school environment
- Document progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records in accordance with district and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals and generalization of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
