Step into an impactful role supporting students’ communication and academic success for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This contract assignment offers a 35-hour work week in a welcoming educational environment. You’ll be working August 17, 2026, through June 4, 2027, providing vital speech-language services to a diverse caseload of 55 students. Sites include elementary and middle school settings, as well as outreach to homeschool and private school learners. Daily hours run 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a half-hour unpaid lunch.
Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, valid SLP license and California credentials
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience in the school setting, especially with varied age groups
- Ability to manage and organize a moderate caseload across multiple school sites
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services for students in grades K–8, as well as support for homeschool and private school students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Assess students and document progress towards speech and language goals
- Collaborate closely with educational staff, administrators, and families
- Consult on assistive technology and accommodations as needed
- Travel between assigned schools for service delivery as required
