Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellow encouraged to apply)
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations
- Proficiency in teletherapy service delivery a plus
- Background in healthcare environments advantageous
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective therapy plans
- Effective written and verbal communication skills essential
- Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) are also welcome for school and healthcare support roles
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and implement individualized programs for students with speech, language, or communication challenges
- Utilize both in-person and teletherapy modalities as needed
- Prepare comprehensive evaluations and progress documentation
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and communicative goals
- Offer consultation and education for teachers, staff, and parents to reinforce therapy strategies
- Maintain compliance with documentation standards and timelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development as part of the educational team
