This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to foster communication and learning for children across various age groups.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Possession of a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows considered
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to develop individualized education program (IEP) goals and document progress
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Design, implement, and track speech-language intervention programs in both individual and group sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and family members to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide consultative support to educators regarding classroom strategies
- Monitor student development and adjust therapy plans to meet evolving needs
