Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in school-based settings, particularly with middle and high school students, is highly desired
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to students in both middle and high school settings
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support each student’s growth
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing expertise to shape effective educational plans
  • Offer prevention, screening, and intervention services, tailoring approaches to a diverse student population
  • Support generalization of communication skills throughout the academic environment
