This contract-based position is close to Fort Collins, CO, and extends from ASAP through May 22, 2026, offering a consistent full-time schedule at 37.5 hours per week. You’ll work collaboratively with dedicated educational teams to foster student growth and ensure every voice is heard.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with middle and high school populations
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-focused interventions
- Comfortable working onsite and engaging directly with staff, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for speech, language, and communication challenges
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
- Regularly document progress, maintain service records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Design engaging activities tailored to the needs of secondary school students
- Offer strategies and support for classroom staff to facilitate carryover of skills
