Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
  • Current, active SLP license in Colorado (or eligibility)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Prior experience working with middle or high school populations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, staff, and families
  • Experience with IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and educational goals
  • Deliver direct therapy services to middle and high school students, both individually and in group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student growth
  • Participate in IEP meetings, goal-setting, and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
