This contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through May 22, 2026, with a consistent weekly commitment of 37.5 hours. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered
  • Previous experience working with middle and/or high school students highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with students, parents, and school staff
  • Familiarity with IEP process, documentation, and best practices for school-based therapy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students in middle and high school settings
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to support student growth and program success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and service delivery
  • Participate in school meetings and multidisciplinary teams to promote student outcomes
  • Offer guidance and strategies to educators and families to encourage effective communication development
