Play an essential role in supporting student communication and development as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist serving a diverse pediatric population. This opportunity offers both on-site and teletherapy service options, providing flexibility and the chance to make a real difference in students’ lives. You’ll work closely with educators and families while delivering essential therapy and assessments to help children thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active or eligible license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Iowa
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates also welcome
  • Experience or interest in pediatric settings and school-based SLP roles
  • Skill with assessments, intervention planning, and documentation for a range of speech and language challenges
  • Familiarity and comfort with teletherapy platforms a plus
  • Commitment to collaborative work with teachers, multidisciplinary teams, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language assessments, diagnostics, and therapy sessions for students across grade levels
  • Participate in the development, review, and implementation of IEPs
  • Maintain thorough records and compliance with school and state policies
  • Offer support and in-service training to educational staff as needed
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and strategies for continued support
