You'll work collaboratively with educators and support staff to deliver engaging and impactful speech and language interventions. Caseloads are tailored based on age group preference, discussed during the interview process to ensure the best fit for your expertise and interests.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or pending Texas SLP license (must be active by the assignment start date)
- SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or pediatric school-based experience strongly preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- A passion for working with diverse student populations ranging from early childhood through high school
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions in a school environment
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams for student support
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to state and district guidelines
