Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid or pending Texas SLP license (must be active by start date)
- Open to ASHA CCC, CFY, or those with pediatric SLP experience
- School-based or pediatric clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to engage students and communicate effectively with families and school teams
What You'll Do:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Evaluate, screen, and assess students to determine eligibility and areas of need
- Create and implement individualized therapy plans and interventions
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate student progress
- Monitor and document ongoing student performance and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, stakeholder consultations, and professional development
- Caseload age preferences may be discussed in the interview process
