Ideal candidates will have:

  • Active SLP license in Florida or eligibility to obtain one
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience or motivation to work in K-12 school settings
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Flexibility to travel between school sites as assigned

Schools and their hours per week:

  • Renaissance Charter School at Tradition: SLP, 31.5 hours weekly
  • Tradition Preparatory High School: SLP, 15 hours weekly
  • Innovation Academy of Excellence (with Tallahassee State College): SLP, 1 hour weekly
  • Union Park Charter Academy: SLP, 16 hours weekly
  • Four Corners Charter School: SLP, 23-28 hours weekly
  • Downtown Miami Charter School: SLP, 4-5 hours weekly (two days per week)

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to students as assigned
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement IEP goals in collaboration with school teams
  • Maintain timely and organized documentation
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
