3rd Grade 8th Grade Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Six positions are available, with placements open across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Dynamic Responsibilities:

• Deliver in-person speech and language therapy to students in grades K-12, based on assigned school placement
• Design and implement therapy sessions for a diverse caseload ranging from 50-60 students
• Complete evaluations, develop IEP goals, and maintain up-to-date documentation for each student
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to foster student progress in both academic and social settings
• Attend IEP meetings as a contributing member of the multidisciplinary team
• Provide strategies and resources for teachers and families to reinforce language development beyond the therapy room

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for Florida SLP certification
• Recent experience in K-12 schools, with flexibility across elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and inclusive education
