5th Grade 3rd Grade School Speech Language Pathologist - Fort Lauderdale, Florida

A welcoming school setting near Fort Lauderdale is seeking six SLPs to join for the 2026-2027 academic year, offering vital in-person services to a diverse population across elementary, middle, and high school levels. With a beloved SLP retiring, this is an opportunity to positively impact many students while collaborating with a dedicated educational team.

Choose your preferred age group—from elementary to high school, Kindergarten through Grade 12—based on your interests and expertise. Caseload sizes are thoughtfully managed around 50-60 students to ensure SLPs can provide the highest quality care and make meaningful connections throughout the school year.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid state Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility)
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Ability to deliver evidence-based therapy in-person
• Confidence working with a varied age range: K-12
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• Experience with school-based caseloads is preferred, but enthusiastic new grads are welcome

Role Highlights:

• Provide direct therapy services and interventions tailored to each student’s needs
• Complete assessments, collaborate on IEPs, and monitor student progress
• Consult with teachers and families to foster student growth and communication success
• Work on a campus-based schedule:
  • Elementary (7:30am-4:00pm), Middle (7:45am-4:00pm), High (8:30am-4:00pm)
