With a valued team member retiring, there’s a strong need for compassionate and dedicated SLPs to provide in-person services to students who depend on your expertise. Six positions are available, with placements open across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Work environment and schedules are tailored to each campus, ensuring the role fits your preferences and strengths.
Dynamic Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person speech and language therapy to students in grades K-12, based on assigned school placement
- Design and implement therapy sessions for a diverse caseload ranging from 50-60 students
- Complete evaluations, develop IEP goals, and maintain up-to-date documentation for each student
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to foster student progress in both academic and social settings
- Attend IEP meetings as a contributing member of the multidisciplinary team
- Provide strategies and resources for teachers and families to reinforce language development beyond the therapy room
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for Florida SLP certification
- Recent experience in K-12 schools, with flexibility across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and inclusive education
