This full-time contract position begins August 24th, offering the chance to work with a dedicated caseload of 50 students. Your daily schedule will run from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM, allowing you to support young learners’ communication and language development throughout the day.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for Missouri (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
- Previous experience working in elementary school settings is highly regarded
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with students, families, and staff
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation within a school system
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
- Provide direct therapy services, monitor student outcomes, and make data-driven recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and meet compliance requirements for documentation and reporting
