Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Fort Leonard Wood, MO

An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to make a meaningful impact in an elementary school setting near Fort Leonard Wood, MO. This full-time contract position begins August 24th, offering the chance to work with a dedicated caseload of 50 students. Your daily schedule will run from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM, allowing you to support young learners’ communication and language development throughout the day.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for Missouri (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
• Previous experience working in elementary school settings is highly regarded
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with students, families, and staff
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation within a school system

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged children
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
• Provide direct therapy services, monitor student outcomes, and make data-driven recommendations
• Maintain accurate records and meet compliance requirements for documentation and reporting
