Step into a fulfilling role supporting students’ communication and success for the 2026/2027 academic year as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) on a contract basis. Your expertise in speech and language services will be instrumental in making a direct and positive difference in the lives of children in a vibrant school community near Fort Lupton, CO.

Your skills in working with school-aged children will help assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, collaborating closely with teachers, families, and fellow support staff to ensure every student achieves their highest potential.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • SLPs must hold a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and active CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • SLPAs must possess relevant state licensure/certification for SLP Assistant
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and therapy for students with speech, language, or communication needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Provide consultation and support to staff and families
