Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license or eligibility in Alabama
- Open to applicants holding CCC-SLP or those in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and culturally responsive support
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring speech-language services
- Deliver therapy services in individual or group settings within the school environment
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ educational progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress notes, and session logs
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
- Provide resources and strategies to staff and families to facilitate student success
