Speech Language Pathologist in Fort Myers Beach, FL

This contract opportunity runs from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering flexible scheduling up to 35 hours per week. You’ll work on-site at a single school location in either Golden Gate City or Immokalee, providing essential speech and language services to help students realize their full potential.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure
• Experience working with school-aged students (K-12) preferred
• Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus
• Fingerprinting required; prior prints may transfer if registered in the AHCA Clearinghouse
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Able to collaborate effectively with educators, administration, and families

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students across all grade levels
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP requirements
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and document all services provided
• Work closely with teachers, counselors, and families to foster student growth
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
