This full-time or part-time, school-based contract opportunity runs from August 11, 2026, to May 27, 2027, with assignments across multiple elementary, middle, and high schools—placements can be combined for those seeking a full FTE.

You’ll collaborate on-site with dynamic teams as a Speech Language Pathologist, empowering students of various age groups to achieve academic and social success. Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech/language disorders within a school setting
  • Designing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Maintaining thorough, compliant documentation for all therapy sessions and progress reports
  • Consulting proactively with teachers, families, and related service providers to maximize outcomes
  • Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to school-wide awareness and inclusion initiatives

Desired credentials and abilities:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Current Florida Department of Health SLP license and/or valid Florida teacher certification
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Capability to manage and prioritize a caseload across multiple campuses
  • Clearance through Florida fingerprinting and eligibility for a JLA badge (support provided for credentialing process)
