Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Fort Myers, FL

Make an impact supporting students across all grade levels as a Speech Language Pathologist at a vibrant site in the Fort Myers area! This is a full-time, contract position starting August 11, 2026 and concluding May 27, 2027, with up to 35 hours per week available. The role is entirely onsite, serving one dedicated school location in Golden Gate City or Immokalee, where you will help students reach key communication milestones.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Florida Department of Health SLP license required
• Previous experience providing school-based speech and language therapy preferred
• Comfortable working with K-12 caseloads, adapting interventions to a wide age and developmental range
• Strong evaluation, documentation, and progress monitoring skills
• Clear, collaborative communication with teachers, staff, and families

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services tailored to student IEPs and individual needs
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement therapy plans, and document progress accurately
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help students succeed
• Manage assigned caseload efficiently within a single school site
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and timely documentation
• Adhere to all timelines for credentialing, including fingerprint clearance and JLA badge acquisition
