Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity on the beautiful Southeast Florida coast, serving K-12 students in dynamic on-site settings. These full-year assignments begin August 5, 2026, and offer the chance to work with an experienced team of SLPs or independently, depending on the school and caseload. With schedules designed to provide both stability and variety, you’ll support students’ communication needs during key transitions, including maternity leave coverage across several welcoming campuses.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP-CCC and active state licensure
  • Prior experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with ASD, EBD, InD, and PK-12 therapy caseloads
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Completion of fingerprinting for credentialing (existing DOH prints may be accepted)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy and interventions to students (K-12, including ASD, EBD, and InD units)
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with SLPA(s), teachers, and special education teams
  • Support students during maternity leave periods and through transitions
  • Serve 1-2 school locations per assignment, with supportive SLP teams or autonomous settings
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
