Step into a rewarding assignment supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in vibrant educational communities in the Fort Pierce, FL area. Both positions align with maternity leave coverage—one at a K-8 school with an inclusive caseload featuring multiple ASD units, and the other at a high school, complete with on-site support from a SLPA. Each SLP will have a dedicated campus, allowing for focused engagement and continuity of care with students and staff.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Florida SLP license (CCC required)
  • School-based SLP experience preferred
  • Comfortable managing diverse caseloads across K-8 or high school age groups
  • Familiarity with ASD populations and inclusion settings is a plus
  • Ability to meet district credentialing and fingerprint requirements (expedited through the AHCA Clearinghouse for those previously printed)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative SLP services according to IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success
  • Complete evaluations, progress monitoring, and documentation efficiently
  • Engage in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team planning
  • Support transition and coverage needs during maternity leave assignments

Assignment Details:

  • 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Single school per assignment for uninterrupted service delivery
  • On-site roles beginning in September or October (depending on coverage dates)
